"The Shirt Off His Back" - Make and Mend -1942 - Part 2
More from Make and Mend, this time you can transform his old shirts into girls blouses, pajamas, childs dress, boys suit, a pinafore, a boys blouse and even a sunsuit and bonnet!
I have the English Make Do and Mend, which is rather dour and serious, but the American version looks far more jaunty and fun! This one has photographs, and even clothes one might want to wear (whereas the English one really is piecing bits together at times!). Must try and find a copy of this.
