"Peasant Surprise" - A Slack Suit from Betty Co-Ed of Hollywood - 1947
"A TWO-PIECE suit! Boxy bolero jacket and matching slacks with detachable suspenders ... both trimmed with colorful peasant embroidery. Smoothly tailored to fit perfectly and flatter your figure!"
The idea of that outfit flattering anyone's figure astounds me. I love the name 'Betty Co-Ed' though, very sassy!
ReplyDeleteThis magazine is called Secrets, so you can imagine there is plenty to post, but Betty Co-Ed just stood out!
ReplyDeleteOh my, that outfit is hilarious! With the jacket it almost looks cool, like Betty Co-ed was hoping to moonlight as an extra on one of the Three Caballeros live segments. Without however, I keep expecting her to break into some thigh slapping yodelling...
ReplyDeleteHowdy! I've given you an award over on my blog! Thanks for inspiring me!
