Dressmaking Made Easy - 1935
A glimpse at this instruction book put out by the McCall Company in 1935. I've included a few of the pages for techniques you'd need to master. Also they think electric sewing machines might be a good idea.

ReplyDeleteI've never seen a pattern marked with that double line that you cut between. Interesting!
The false binding is a new concept to me. I might have to experiment with it.
