Butterick Fashion News 1947

This holds a special interest for me, this is from Seattle's Bon Marche...it was one of two big department stores downtown (the other was Fredricks & Nelson). I wasn't around in 1947, but when I was a little girl I went to both of them with my Grandmother. I mostly remember the bathrooms...the lounges had couches! So luxurious. And they were full of ladies who lunch. Like these gals.
