Fabulous ad! It's fun to see what the vernacular was at the time too. You never hear "smart looking" any more.

ReplyDeleteI love the "no salesman will call" disclaimer at the bottom of the ad! Do you think this was the 1959 equivalent of those online dressmaking courses you see ads for now?
